Each year Aspera, Inc. in partnership with the Sigma Lambda Lambda Graduate Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., adopts at least one family in need and fulfills their holiday wishes.
During Christmas 2008, Aspera, Inc. adopted a family which consisted of a single mom and her nine (9) children. Unfortunately, the husband passed away while the mother was yet unemployed. Aspera, Inc. was able to provide several wrapped gifts for each member of the family, including toys, coats, shoes, clothes, and even a piece of jewelry. You can imagine the sheer excitement, joy and smiles we witnessed, not to mention the sense of gratification we and our donors received that early Christmas morning.
We know some of you have already committed to philanthropic opportunities this Holiday season - while others of you are undecided and looking for a cause to join. Regardless of your situation, please find it in your heart to bless a family with a delightful and memorable Christmas by giving monetarily or via physical gifts.
